Parent & Tot
- The parent & tot programs are an opportunity for parents and child care providers to meet other parents. This is also an excellent opportunity for your children to interact with other children. Activities and toys are provided for children to learn through play. Sessions take place from 9:30-11in Scandia(Salem Lutheran Church Basement), Rosemary (Arena), Bassano(Community Hall), Jenner(Iddesleigh Hall). In Duchess(Soccer Dome) from 10-11, and in Brooks(Lakeside Leisure Centre) from 9:30-10:45.
Little LINKS- An after school program for children in Kindergarten to grade 4. There are Little LINKS programs running in Bassano(School), Rosemary(Community Arena), Duchess(School), Tilley(School), Griffin Park School (across from gym) and Brooks(Leisure Centre). These groups run once a week throughout the school year.

Brooks Playin’ with Tots- Every Thursday we will be enjoying an extra special Parent & Tot designed to learn some new ways to play. Enjoy structured activities like parachute, songs, rhymes, circle time, and games like duck-duck-goose. Parents are encouraged to participate and this program is located in the Flex Hall of the Leisure Centre from 9:30-10:30.
Moving ‘N’ Grooving- Join us Thursday afternoons from 1:30-2 pm for some active play. Come join us for some moving and grooving to burn some energy. We encourage you to wear comfortable clothing.

AM I GROWING?- Just like visiting the dentist, having an eye appointment or seeing a doctor, it's important to schedule a growth checklist for your child. The Ages & Stages Questionnaires begin at four months and continue up to five years. If you have any questions about your child's everyone. We will be having refreshments and light snacks served to enjoy over conversation milestones, please call and make an appointment to have one of our staff help you complete the questionnaire. In home, or in office appointments available.
Nobody’s Perfect- For caregivers with children 0-5 yrs. This program is designed to assist in learning new ways to keep you child healthy, happy, and safe. This program is offered on a weekly basis. Please contact Tabatha to register.

Story ‘N’ Rhyme- You are welcome to join us Friday mornings for an interactive experience with circle time of songs/ stories and a craft to follow. We provide all the supplies for you and your child to have some fun interactive time making a craft. 10-11
Lil Picassos- Join Tabatha on Tuesday mornings from 10-11 and allow your little one to enjoy painting in a variety of ways. Weekly we will have a theme. We might paint on different textures or using different painting tools; but the tots are sure to enjoy getting messy!(Starts Oct 12)
Lil Chefs- Every Monday morning from 10-11 we will be supplying all the tools for your children to learn and have fun baking. Measuring, sharing, taking-turns are a few things they will be able to learn. Parent participation is encouraged and REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Limited Space is Available. Phone (403)362-5056
Baby & Me- A drop-in program for moms and babies,(0-12 months) to come out and socialize with other new moms. This program is offered by the Brooks and District Child Development Society and is hosted in the PLC playroom. Stop in Wednesdays from 9:30 to 10:30 am
Mom’s Club- This month we will be encouraging moms to come out and make their own pottery creation with the ladies from the Brooks Handicraft Guild at no cost. This is a two-night event. Registration is required. From 6:30-8:30 p.m. Please phone for more information (403) 362-5056.
Coffee Time Topics- On Thursday from 10-11am we will be having a Coffee Time for with other moms about child based topics. Then allow your children get the opportunity to play with other children in our playroom
Infant Massage- Deb Eubank will be instructing parents on how to massage your baby. Drop by and get some hands on massage techniques for your baby.
Saturday Play – Join the PLC coordinators between10-12 in the PLC playroom at Community Cultural Centre every Saturday morning. We provide all the toys, just bring the Tots…..Dads are encouraged, See you then
